The Shubhakamana Experience

Every one of our amazing adventures centres around the opportunity to give back and make a difference. One of the most exciting of these projects is to teach or help out for a day or two in a village school. The great part of this experience is that the teachers welcome English speakers into their classrooms to enhance their student’s exposure to the language. We can help you structure your time productively and support you to ensure you have an amazing experience whilst also making a difference!

The School

Another great opportunity may be for you to support the school outside of the classroom with some basic renovations or decoration. The staff always appreciate classroom refreshes or wall painting to ensure the environment is welcoming and right to support the learning of the amazing children there.

Eco Project

We have an excellent relationship with an inspirational Eco Project in Shubhakamana community – here you will have the opportunity to see biodynamic farming, homes build from recycled materials, and self-sustaining living. If this is something that interests you, we can arrange for you to volunteer here too for a day or two and make a difference to the local community.

Home Visits

The Impact Foundation has supported many families to send their children to school over the last 20 years. This scholarship programme is a foundation stone to making a sustainable difference in the community. You will have the unique opportunity to visit some of our families and see the impact directly. These home visits are done sensitively and with consent – they can be emotional visits that can change our perspective on the human condition.
