How you can help?

By agreeing to sponsor a child - you are having a huge impact! You can either:

1: Take a full sponsorship at £25 per month direct debit

2: Take a part sponsorship at £15 per month direct debit which we will join with another.

3: Set your own amount per month direct debit and we will make it work!

Your contribution will be allocated to one of our families and children in need. I will let you know who this is as soon as the Sponsorship has been set up.

Each summer we deliver the money directly to the school and each family that gets the support receives an Impact Statement with the specific amount being funded so they and the school know what has been paid. It is a simple and transparent process.

Each summer you will receive a short update on the child and family you are supporting – these updates are collected through the home-visits we do annually with our student groups.

The families we support through the Impact Foundation are incredibly grateful for the support they receive. We have been blessed to be able to visit each family home and meet those that care for the children in person. Every family greeted warmly, opening their homes to us like friends. We were able to sit with each of them for a few moments and with the aid of our translator, hear about their aspirations for their children’s education and beyond. It was a humbling experience.

We present each family with their annual Scholarship Statements, explaining what we are paying for: school fees, books, library fees, id card and transport subsidy. Copies of each statement go to the school along with the full fees. I cannot reiterate how grateful each family are. The pressure to pay the school fees and associated costs for their child vanishes and they can direct their limited resources into food and clothing costs for the family.
